The first lesson is titled ‘The Basics of Survival Prepping’ and covers the things you will need such as water, food, shelter, etc., to set up a basic survival kit and it includes a very handy checklist. Next to oxygen, water is the most important thing we need for survival. The lesson on ‘Water Procurement & Purification’ teaches you to locate water sources in various environments and then gives you several techniques to purify the water.
Finding food when the supermarkets are bare is a critical survival skill and the ‘Food Sourcing’ lesson introduces you to various methods of sourcing food (foraging, fishing, trapping, and hunting) in different environments. In the ‘Shelter Building’ section, you’ll learn the basics of building different types of shelters depending on the environment you’re in such as – selecting a good location, gathering materials, and constructing various types of shelters, from simple debris huts to more complex structures. A step-by-step checklist to guide you through the process is also provided.
All of the pages in the sections have colorful watercolor grunge borders (the color according to that section) and there are six ‘Notes’ pages featuring each of those borders rounding up the Survival Prep Planner.
